Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2008)

Jack Brooks (Trevor Matthews) has had a very traumatic life and it’s just about to get worse. After Jack witnessed the brutal murder of his family, he had found himself with a blood lust and fury that he has to constantly fight to maintain his composure. If watching the death of your parents isn’t traumatic enough, now Jack has found himself as a struggling local plumber and a failing boyfriend to Eve (Rachel Skarsten).

After attempting to turn his life around and end this downward spiral, Jack takes on a job to fix the old rusty plumbing that plagues the house of Professor Crowley (Robert Englund). But as Jack’s luck would have it, he has just awoken an ancient evil. The weak willed Professor Crowley is no match for the demonic powers, quickly overtaking him through the monstrous black heart that it has taken the form of. As Professor Crowley slowly succums to the beating black heart buried deep inside his chest, his transformation into a gruesome beast is beginning to be much more visible.
