Darren Aronofsky’s ROBOCOP Set For 2010 Release

July 28, 2008

Director Darren Aronofsky has officially signed on to the newest ROBOCOP movie set to hit theaters sometime in 2010. Aronofsky has been known for his work in movies such as PI, The Fountain, and Requiem For A Dream. The entire movie will be completely refashioned, with the finished product coming in at as much as $100 million.

To help bring the feel of the now over 20 year old classic back onto the screen correctly, they’ve picked up some support from Mike Medavoy, who helped produce the original movie. Everyone in the production team seems thrilled to bring this movie into a new century.
