If not for the writer, this film you may expect to see on your Sci-Fi network, but Bret Easton Ellis (Rules of Attraction and American Psycho) is excellent in bringing to life the upper class mental madman. The director is Paul Schrader who wrote the screenplays for Raging Bull and Taxi Driver.

The movie is not in any way to be mistaken for Bait 3D the Australian film that could make Ellis consider changing the film’s title. Near release the 3D film features tsunami survivors that get trapped in a supermarket that coincidentally is the new home of man-eating tiger sharks that have lost their way.
