Prometheus Ridley Scott’s new Alien movie

Prometheus Ridley Scott’s latest movie may possibly be the lead up story to Alien his sci-fi masterpiece and on Thursday made a big impression at Comic-Con. The movie it turns out is not the origin story of Alien but of the universe.

The movie stars Charlize Theron and Damon Lindelof, the Lost Producer wrote the script. The movie details humanities attempts at solving the mystery of how the universe began.

Prometheus says Lindelof starts at the beginning and covers a huge expanse of time including the present, past and future. He says that the movie for the most part does not take part on earth. They movie explores the future away from Earth asking what is it like now and what are people like now.

The space exploration of the movie for the future is not about just finding places to build colonies but to explore to see how it all came about and why. The further the exploration goes the more that is learned about our selves. Prometheus’ characters are worried about what were their origins.

Ridley speaking in the video presentation promised a number of robots in the movie and the ending of the movie ties into the original movies of the Alien series. So the question asked by many is if Prometheus will explain about aliens from the other classic horror films.

In ancient myth Prometheus was a warrior of a titan stealing fire because the gods wanted to keep it all to themselves. Could the movie title mean we helped to create life and make to what it is and then it all comes back to haunt the very ones that created it. There are more questions to be answered but there is real excitement and anticipation in the air for the movie and what is really means.
