The show will begin on October 22 at 9:00pm. The Pioneer Theater will be presenting 90 minutes of eye-popping horror by celebrating the international releases at DAGGERS, The Short Festival of Short Horror. If you miss the scheduled showing on the 22nd, there will be a repeat of the entire program at the same time on the 23rd.

The lineup includes an array of films which cover a wide variety of horror topics. The first is “The Facts in the Case of Mister Hollow”, which won Best Short at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival. The macabre mystery is told in visual terms and has a startling since of originality. The second is “Criticized” by Richard Gale, which has been honored at over a dozen festivals. The movie pits a deranged director against the most harshest critic and has scenes which you’re not likely to forget. The third of the more popular features will be “The Listening Dead”, which has already taken home prizes at Fantastic Fest. It’s black and white and is based on the 1920s silent flicks, but isreminiscent of George A. Romero’s earliest works. Some call it horror poetry and have compared the storyline to something Edgar Allan Poe would have been proud of.
