Max Payne (2008)

While not necessarily horror, the story of Max Payne is definitely one to keep you on the edge of your seat. The movie adaptation of Rockstar Games epic story is set to hit theaters October 17^th nation wide.

Mark Wahlberg takes the lead role as Max Payne, a unlucky cop who is still trying to get over the death of his family. As a detective, work doesn’t stop for family troubles, so Payne is force to stay on task and continue his investigation of several murders around town. Things begin to heat up as a deadly assassin looking for revenge (Mila Kunis) is loose in the same exact city.

The movie takes a lot of elements from the popular video game, so fans of the franchise will hopefully find it as interesting as the first time they played through the story. New comers won’t have any issue submersing themselves into the storyline as well. We’ll have to see how it does in theaters. Check back soon for more updates!
