Spears To Play Lead In Tarantino Remake

Sarah Knapton, a journalist of the British website Telegraph.co.uk, has reported that pop singer Britney Spears has accepted the role of Varla in the remake of Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!. The Russ Meyer’s 1965 cult classic is being completely remade by director Quentin Tarantino and it would appear that he sees Spears as the perfect fit to replace the Tura Satana’s go-go dancer role in the original film.
There is expected to be little to no changes done on the movie itself as Tarantino is a big fan of sticking to the classic feel. That means that Spears would be playing to bad girl role, murdering at least one individual, taking a girl hostage, and even have several sex scenes with another girl before the entire movie ends in a blood filled extravaganza.
Tarantino has yet to come out and confirm that the offer has been made to Spears, but he had previously mentioned his interest in having her as a supporting role in the film. The New York Post had previously reported that Tarantino would be looking to keep the role of Varla more physically the same and had expressed interest in porn star Tera Patrick to fill that gap.
The film is currently on the back burner as Tarantino focuses his efforts on the World War II epic Inglorious Bastards.
