Sculpture (2009)

Sculpture is a psychological thriller that follows the story of a girl named Ashely Steele after she has left the home of her abusive father. The question still remains as to whether or not Ashley’s father killed her mother when she was a child, but now that her father has passed, it doesn’t look like she’ll be getting the answer to that question anytime soon.

The film starts at her fathers funeral, introducing her too close for comfort brother Adam who convinces her to stick around and keep the family business going (Steele’s Gym). What better place for Ashley to be working then at a gym when the local art gallery is looking for her to create some pieces for her art gallery opening soon, dubbed “The Perfect Man”.

But being close to home is too much for Ashley to handle, as her mind begins to reflect on the horrible childhood that she had escaped from just by leaving her home town. But as the walls of reality crumble around her, all Ashely can focus on is bringing together her work of art, no matter what the bloody and often gory cost may be.
