Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland) hasn’t quite been the same since he left the police department. After killing another policeman during an undercover operation, Ben finds himself drowning away his guilt in alcohol. To support his family, he takes up a position as a security guard at a New York City department store that had been shut down five years ago due to a terrible fire that had killed and injured many individuals.
What he doesn’t realize is that the mirrors within this abandoned building are looking for vengeance and can reach out through the many mirrors left within the building to get it. Even worse, these spirits attach themselves to Ben, allowing him to bring them home and endager the people he loves. Will his sister Angie (Amy Smart), estranged wife Amy (Paula Patton), and their two kids Micahel (Cameron Boyce) and Daisy (Erica Gluck) survive the horrors that Ben has brought home for them to face?
This refashioning of Sung-ho Kim’s Korean 2003 thriller, Geoul Sokeuro, was rewritten and produced by Alexandre Aja and Greogory Levasseur.
Mirrors will be in theaters everywhere starting August 15th, 2008.
